Love it. Love it. Love it. Top ten all time show for me and the Viola off the Road Trips 2.2 is my all time Viola as well. The Schoolgirl is no slouch either.

I think that the setlist was as simple as this:

Viola
Schoolgirl
Clementine ->
New Potato Caboose ->
Born Cross-Eyed ->
Space ->
Spanish Jam ->
Caution (Do Not Stop On Tracks) Jam ->
Dark Star

I think on the circulating copy the machine just was not on for the first two songs...Or, maybe they had a problem and had to change reels between Clementine and whatever actually came before it. Clementine does sound clipped because of the way it fades in....Maybe, just maybe the tape with Viola and Schoolgirl suffered from warble so badly it was unlistenable until they remastered it. Who knows, but that was a very common problem back then...Tape oscillation/warble that is.

Forgot to mention Teddy Wilson on piano! Doesn't get much better than this show!
